“Equity financing is not for every business, but for some businesses it is the way to go. Using your own personal saving is risky, but going into any business is risky.

In addition, using your own personal savings would prevent an individual from having to pay back a loan with interest attached. Moreover it might be a good idea to keep your present job as additional income, until the business makes a profit.
