There have been several laws passed at the federal level to deal with organized crime. They include the Organized Crime Control Act, which includes the description of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, also known as RICO.

Your assignment this week is to answer the following questions:

• Research a case involving the use of the RICO statute, and explain how the target organization meets the four primary elements of organized crime as described in the textbook.

This individual work should include the following:
