strands, the template have direction in ;5′ to 3′direction; which will act in transcription process.

RNA polymerase will bind to the promoter region in template strand. Now, RNA polymerase will synthesise nucleotide based on the complementarity. For example: there will be synthesis of nucleotide in following manner:

Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, cytosine of template synthesise ;Uracil, adenine, cytosine and guanine respectively.

This will lead to synthesis of ;mRNA.

Translation:

Now ;ribosome ;binds to the mRNA. There are ;codon ;in mRNA which will lead to synthesis of amino acids corresponding to codon region in mRNA.

This amino acid are transferred by means of ;tRNA ;and leads to synthesis of protein.
